会议背景介绍: The 1st United States-China Symposium on Energy was successfully held from August 10 to 14, 2014 at the 248th ACS National Meeting & Exposition,San Francisco, California, USA.
The 2nd China-United States Symposium on Energy will be held from June 26-28 (Fri to Sun), 2015 in Shanghai, China. It will be organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University. On behalf of the organizing committee, we are greatly honored to host this great event to provide a forum for the researchers, academics and industry experts to discuss the latest advances, development strategies, technical progresses and policy supports in energy, and also provide an opportunity for them to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish research relations and to find partners for future collaboration between two countries.
In recent years, the demands for energy sources have been dramatically increased. The world’s demand for energy is forecast to grow by some 45% by 2030. To satisfy this demand in an economical and environmentally acceptable manner is one of the most significant challenges facing society. China is the largest developing country and the United States is the largest developed country. A strong collaboration between the two countries is important to solve energy issues. In this conference, Energy for Sustainable Development is an apt and timely topic, particularly when human beings are facing the crises in survival and development. 征文范围及要求: Sessions 1.
